3rd in Yr7/8 North Island Regionals

Dance Academy competed in the North Island Regional Competition last weekend and placed 3rd in their category. It was wonderful experience for all involved and the girls performed with enthusiasm and confidence. Thanks to all those who helped make the trip to Taupo possible, especially the wonderful parents who attended the trip with us.

Workshop with Sio

Dance Academy were lucky enough to have Sio Vaelua come and work with them for two one hour sessions. Sio was a judge at Super Arts 2012 and is also a well respected dancer and choreographer in New Zealand. The girls learned so much and had a ball dancing with Sio. Check out the photos below...

SUPER ARTS WIN 2012

Wow! We did it. Dance Academy won the 2012 Super Arts Dance banner.

Super Arts Dance

Super Arts Dance is this term and Ross Intermediate is hosting the event. We are trialling an evening performance so parents and caregivers may attend the event too. It's set for Wednesday, June 27th. 

Our set song is to Rama Lama Bang Bang.
